My brand shoot with Maine designer, Alaina Marie, spoke to my Maine-loving heart. Alaina started her entrepreneurial journey in 2013 with an Etsy shop and now owns and operates a small batch handbag studio and design bar with locations in South Portland and Kittery. All her products are made in Maine and Alaina Marie is home of the Original BaitBag Clutch™ – you can even design your own personalized handbag online!

When I walked into her South Portland shop location for her brand shoot, I smiled when I saw that she was dressed and ready for her shoot but was also actively working on sewing a handbag. Yes, she still sews her own products along with a team of amazing stitchers. If this doesn’t speak to how passionate she is about the business she’s created then I don’t know what does!

Alaina is full of life and so we were sure to capture that during her brand shoot, from photos of her interacting with her products to personality filled headshots. I always love hearing about all the new things Alaina is up you when we meet up for a brand shoot. You’ll find her doing fun collaborations with other local businesses, like with Sea Love Home®, and hosting parties at the Design Bar (perfect for girls nights, bachelorette parties, and more!).
