No awkward ice-breakers, no breakout groups, just a casual walk with new friends. I will definitely be going to more of these walks whenever Marissa has them. She is the BEST connector of relationships and makes things so relaxed - even for introverts like me!"
"THIS is how I love to network. The Netwalks are so casual and fun, and talking business ends up being so natural. Feels like hanging with friends!
We park and meet at the Pineland Farms Outdoor & Fitness Center located at 25 Campus Dr, New Gloucester, ME 04260. It's the closest lot to the trailhead and a short walk or drive to the market for after for food/beverages (if you're joining!).
There's parking right at this location. You'll receive an email beforehand with photos of where to park. There's plenty of parking!
We'll be doing the Campus Loop trail! It's a lovely, mostly flat path with a few hills. It's about a 40-ish minute walk through the woods. You're welcome to go at your own pace and chat along the way. In all, I'd budget about an hour!
I would wear sneakers or comfy walking shoes, bring rain gear if it may rain (this is RAIN OR SHINE), and water if you'd like!
Since this is still a brand-new idea, I'm starting NetWalk as an adults only experience for focused, intentional connection. And, not all trails may be stroller or super kid friendly as well and we want to maintain safety.
That said, I'm open to seeing how this grows and evolves and I can definitely imagine exploring different formats in the future if there's interest.
Thanks so much for understanding!
After the walk, anyone who wants to stick around is welcome to pop over to the Pineland Market for food, coffee, and more chats. No pressure but I'd love for you to come hang out if you're able!
And if you know me then you already know there will be a group photo moment! Don't worry though, participation is totally optional but just giving you a heads up!
