Website Designer Brand Photoshoot

When Stacey, a ShowIt website designer and developer whose business is “Coffee and Flow” reached out, I felt like I instantly had a connection with her. Between the word “coffee” being in her business name and her emails containing equally as many smiley faces and exclamation points as mine, it felt like a fit from the start.

As someone whose business centers around designing websites, Stacey knows the power of consistent brand images for not only others websites but also her own. We brainstormed essential props for her shoot together, including coffee (of course), her sentimental Dolly Parton mug, wine, popcorn, laptop, and her favorite business books. We had her brand shoot at her house which included a beautiful kitchen she had redone herself.

One of my favorite things to do at photoshoots is play music. When I asked Stacey what vibe she was feeling, she said “Mmmm, Beyonce!” And I was totally on board. One of my favorite memories from our shoot was catching little clips of Beyonce songs in the background and finding ourselves singing along. While I take making sure we get exactly what you need accomplished during your shoot very seriously, the actual process does not need to be!

Stacey’s goal for her brand photoshoot was to capture photos that would say “that’s totally Stacey.” And for anyone who knows her, I think they’d say just the photos do just that!

Not to mention, I’ve had the joy of getting to know her better. I had a feeling after our shoot that I would be needing Stacey’s talent, expertise, and efficiency at ShowIt website design. So, my website? Stacey designed it! I hired Stacey to help me not only rework and redesign my website but switch website platforms entirely. She made my vision come to life and did so about a million times faster than I could have myself. After working with Stacey in both capacities, it is clear not only that she’s the best at what she does but that she truly cares about making sure your website is an expression of you and your brand.

And that’s something a brand photographer TRULY appreciates!
